3 Men Jump Out To Attack Me...

Three men jump out from hiding to attack me...
This picture shows the scene. Our car was parked in front of the ivy-laden staircase. My door (the passenger side) was wide open. I had set my purse on the seat and was picking up some trash from the door to throw it away (in the garage, to the right of that staircase, under the building). As I turned to walk to the garage, I thought about the fact my door was wide open with my purse in plain sight. Even though no one was around, I thought, “Just to be smart, I need to go back and shut that door”. As soon as I got to the car door, a man lunged out at me from the bushes (next to the staircase). He landed maybe 5 inches from my shoulder. As soon as his feet hit the ground, I turned and looked him in the eyes. Immediately, his whole expression changed and his body went completely limp. Two more men immediately followed behind him, lunging toward me from the bushes. As soon as their feet landed, they too went limp. All 3 had confusion all over their faces and fear in their eyes. They seemed to be almost leaning against each other to keep from falling down (though it was clear they were sober). They slowly started to back away, staring as if they were afraid to look away. They finally managed to walk (weak and confused looking) about 10-15 feet from me where they just stopped and stared at me like they were trying to figure out what was going on. I never felt an ounce of fear. I have no doubt they saw the angel of the Lord protecting me. 

I read this this morning..

“See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing. You will look in vain for those who try to conquer you. THOSE WHO ATTACK YOU WILL COME TO NOTHING. For I WILL hold you by your right hand - I, THE LORD, YOUR GOD. And I will say to you, ‘DON’T BE AFRAID, I AM HERE TO HELP YOU”. [Psalm 41:11-13]

If you are a follower of Christ, be encouraged - the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY is with you (Is. 41:10)! If you are not a follower of Christ, give your heart, your life, to Him today and taste and see that the LORD, HE IS GOOD (Ps.34:8; Jn.3:16! 

If GOD is for us, who can be against us?! Hallelujah!
